Im trying to decide which engine block to use. I have an 85 t-type w/ original block. I want to do an 87 conversion. I have another block, I want to find out which block is better to build. My problem is, the casting numbers dont match any on the block guide on this site. Im hoping someone has more knowledge on these block casting #,s. Casting # is 25524140. It has the 3.8 stamp on the side, but on the back it has 85, 3.8, 4.1. Any info would be appreciated.

Check http://www.gnttype.org/general/v6hist.html carefully. That is a 1985 RWD NA block. Its not a turbo block.

Thanks for the info. Not what I wanted to hear, but definitely needed to know before building a motor. Thanks again for your help.
