Default IGN terminal on the fusebox

My light went off on my alky unit when I turned my key on so I assumed I had a problem with the controller. I checked internal and external fuses and they were fine. As a last ditch effort before sending the controller into Steve as SMC I touched the red wire to a battery terminal on the fusebox and the green light lit up. Touched all 3 IGN terminals on the left side of the fusebox and nothing. I don't think I'm getting any power to them. Any ideas what caused this, and more importantly how to fix it? Thanks!

Take a look at he 20 amp fuse STBLT/ACC. It's on the same side next to the ING 1 terminals that your having problems with. It supplies the Ing. power to those terminals. It's probably blown. Let us know what you find... Tom G.

Talking Re: IGN terminal on the fusebox

Yep, it's blown. I've got every other size but a 20 for a replacement. Will pick one up on the way home tomorrow and report back. I looked in the owners manual but didn't see that there was a fuse that they ran thru. Thanks much for the suggestion Tom!

You can use a 25 amp. It's not that much more and like most of us, we like to use those three ING 1 slots. The wireing should be fine with the higher amp fuse and I also have up sized to a little larger fuse. Tom G.

Guys, what do you do when you run out of the 3 IGN slots? Can you run more than 1 item to each, just splicing the wires before the slot? Thanks!

Exclamation Re: IGN terminal on the fusebox

As long as you don't go overboard on your amperage draw.

You could also draw right from the battery. Same caution.
