Default Code 34

I'm running an LS1 maf sensor with a translator and after about 30 minutes of driving my ecm keeps throwing a code 34 low maf reading, the sensor and translator were both tested and are working correctly, and I have a clear air way. The code 34 doesn't appear when I put the stock Maf on. Any ideas what could be the cause?

The translator plugs into the original wiring connector of the stock MAF, could there be a loose connection there causing the code to appear??? Are all the connectors making good contact??? Tom G.

Yes all the connections are good. I get a reading of 3gps at idle with the turbolink with either maf sensor hooked up it goes up when i press the accelerator then back down when i let off. But it only throws the code when the LS1 maf is hooked up causing it to run like crap.
