Default Break in last night

After staying up tweakin out on the net looking for solutions to my shifting prob in my TR, I finally fell asleep. I get up to wash the Buick down at about 6.30 and noticed pieces of my steering column on the ground. WTF!!!! The entire column was busted. They didnt get me this time but Im now on the lookout with my .357 S&W in hand. I cant believe it....anyone selling a column. BTW this is Santa Clarita Ca so anyone in the area beware.

1. Put the car in a garage.
2. If no garage, at least try t block it in with another car.
3. Buy a freakin collar lock at the very least and maybe a nice noisy alarm.

I had a TR stolen from me many years ago. I took all the precautions I could but was out of the country when it happened. In your situation, well, it's just plain carelessness. You know people want to steal these cars. You have to make at least a little effort to deter them if you'd like to keep it. A few simple steps will go a long way.

Good Luck
