Default Rear Bumper Fillers for 87 T- Any recommendations?

Can anyone recommend a reliable source for good quality rear bumper fillers for an 87 T? I don't want fiberglass, I'd prefer something a little flexible like stock. There are 2 sources that sell them regularly on e-Bay and neither actually have them in stock and ready to ship. One seller has some bad feedback about quality (didn't fit well, junk etc) and excessively long wait times. Although one seller is higher priced, I tend to think they both get them from the same source.

Why are you discounting fiberglass?

There are no more "soft like OEM" fillers around. And if you can find an OEM set they're going to cost you big time, something like $500 just for a rear set. NOS4GN (highwaystars) still has a few OEM front available but they wont last long.

There are basically two choices available these days. They are ABS Plastic, or Fiberglass. Both similar, but all the feedback that I've heard over the last few years indicates that the Fiberglass units have a better "fit" that the plastic units. Most vendors carry the plastic one's, and GBODYPARTS carries both. But they are generally built to fill orders as they come in, so the wait might be upwards of two weeks.

Regardles of which you buy, they have to have some "massaging" done to the mounting holes to get a good fit.

Personally I'm going with fiberglass for the better fit. My car is at the painter now, and I had a complete set of fiberglass fillers drop shipped to him so he can mount them and paint them with the car work. He's a GN specialist and is even going to "glass" the two rears together to get rid of that unsightly seem in the center.

Thanks Dave, that helped me to decide on fiberglass for the rear. Everything I have read, plus what you said, tells me that the aftermarket flexible bumper fillers have a problem with fit.

Well, I just ordered the FRONT flexible fillers from g-body.com. I'll let you know how they work out.

Mikeelia,
How is the fitment and quality of the gbody.com parts. I need to replace the rear bumper fillers and was wondering if gbody.com was worth the price.

I don't know yet: They're still in the box in my garage.

I was actually hoping to find someone to paint them before I put them on, but life otherwise intrudes on 'working on the spare car', so I haven't even been able to think about it...
