Default ECM for 87 FWD

My project car has an '87 3800 FWD package.
I have a 84 T-type turbo that I intend to use, once I get the car a bit further along.
Will I need to replace or re-chip the computer?
The MAF is pretty small, will I need to up-size?

So many questions...

Thanks
Jay

Exclamation Re: ECM for 87 FWD

Ummm...

Well, the FWD chip profiles do not take positive manifold pressure into account in their fuel or spark tables. So, if you just get it all bolted together and mat the throttle, I can pretty much guarantee you will blow a head gasket, crack a piston (as they aren't likely the right composition for a hotter charge), or worse. At least if the motor internals are stock..

This may take a bit more work. And a different chip. More likely a different ECM and chip. Such things have been done, and can be made to work. Supercharged and turbocharged FWD motors have been setup before.
