Re: The numbers are in...sm 2.1
You tune to get the target O2, not to a specific adjustment on the chip. What did you adjust the chip based on so far? To decrease knock? Do you have the 160F thermostat installed yet?

Re: The numbers are in...sm 2.1
That is a pretty big problem. Are you sure it is the fan and not a cooling system clogged up?
Hard to find OEM TR fans. The V6 Fieros used the same fan, but I believe they have a different connector. Again, hard to find as many know this and rip them out when they find them. The Mark VIII Lincolns have a very strong fan, and they can be found in junkyards sometimes. The housing may have to be trimmed for it to fit with a stock intercooler. It drawas a lot of power, and a seperate wiring setup may have be used. I'd see if Casper's Electronics has a wiring solution that might help. Dual fans off a Mopar application (Concorde? Intrepid?) have been used, but I know they don't seem to be quite as reliable.

...first let me clarify the 235 temp...it ran up to that number sitting at a pretty long stoplight...but crusing in between the lights{air moving}it was at 215-220...but thats still high to me...highway speeds its 210-215... ac off crusing the temps are175-193...radiator cap off the coolant is flowing freely thru the tubes i can see....thats what makes me think it is the fan...but i found some hard crusty build up on the inside of the radiator will try and get pics posted first of the week...but i found this at a real deal...they are great i have one on my'71 chevelle zero issues... http://www.kmjent.com/cart/product.p...0164621&page=1

Re: The numbers are in...sm 2.1
Good idea. But...the TR radiator has both an oil cooler and trans cooler. And I bet that your SS has a bigger place in the core support for that size radiator. Also, if you get one that is too thick, your fan may not fit back in.
Look at some options made to fit the car you have. It will make things a lot easier.

Re: The numbers are in...sm 2.1
set two parameters ...WOT FUEL OVERALL(PARAMETER 1) to 118 which is{-7.8%}fuel....and WOT SPARK TIMING(PARAMETER 4) to 122 which is{-2.1*}....did a 1/8 blast on back road of my house.....my record is on the vid....should i add a little fuel or leave it where it is ....just want to know what you guys think....this is on pump 93 octane and my sheet says .780-.850...but in this case is this close enough for the once in a while blast or should i add some fuel......these are my numbers after the pass

Re: The numbers are in...sm 2.1
I would add just a touch of fuel and see if the retard gets better. Is it just on the shifts or is that something you saw at the top end?
Pump gas can be sort of iffy in quality and motor octane, so a little rich is always a good idea on the street for safety (or turn the boost down a tad).
