Default Re: Injectors

Change the chip as I said to a modern one such as a turbo tweak chip. www.turbotweak.com. No you don't need to spend money on larger injectors right now, spend your money else wheres right now. 2. Buy an adjustable fuel regulator your going to need it with the after market chip to achieve higher fuel pressure settings which are required with the after market chip, which is usually around 43 lbs.(with vacuum line off reg.) as a starting point. 3.Buy yourself a scan tool such as a scanmaster, it's about $250.00 and a simple 3 wire hook-up a very valuable tool to see whats going on in the motor and your sensor settings. Like I said the Kenne -Bell chip and the Stock chip have too much timing for todays gas.

Default Re: Injectors

Thanks for the advise. I'll get another adjustable fuel regulator (Kenne Bell never responded to my inquiry of whether they had a rebuild kit for mine) and then a modern chip.
