Default MAFT+, 3.5" MAF install and stalling

I just installed my MAFT+ and a 3.5" MAF I bought from someone on the board in my 86 GN.

The car will start up and run for about a second then stall out. I have all of the settings set at defaults or whatever just replaces the stock MAF. I also installed the spark control part of the harness hoping this was the problem, its not.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Did you reset the ECM?

I'm running the MAFT PRO, so I'm not too familiar with the Trans +. Go here:

I reset the ECM.

As far as chip...no idea. It is modified, but by who...no idea. I inherited the car as it sits.

The dip switches are set On, On, On, Off. All other dials are set to 0.

The arrow is pointing towards the turbo, which would put the connector facing the radiator if its on top...correct?

Haven't tried the stock MAF again. I have moved on to some other stuff i wanted to do with it today waiting for replies.

Should I try the stock MAF again?

I'm also posting over on Fullthrottle's website.

This is what I have learned. With the 3.5" maf plumbed in, the MAFT+ unplugged, and the EST jumper in the vehicle will start up.

As soon as I plug the MAFT+ back in it dies almost immediately.

I believe 5.21

Adaptors? If i'm thinking the same thing as you, just one that goes between the MAFT+ connector and the MAF connector.
