changed coil now no fire
I suspected a weak coil so I swapped to an old one that was working when i removed it. no fire. reinstalled the other and still no fire.

Re: changed coil now no fire
I take it you have no spark on any cylinders... You can disconnect any injector and put a test light between the harness wires, crank the engine and see if it blinks or flickers... If it does then the ECM is seeing the crank sensor and cam sensor... The ECM should also be sending a signal to the ignition module to fire the coils... So if you see flashing but no spark most likely you have a bad module... Place to start... Tom G.

Re: changed coil now no fire
I have no fuel pressure either. The car was running, just very rich even with fuel pressure turned down to 30# . and sputtering under high boost, over 15# boost, so I swapped to a coil that i believed to be good, coil and module. then a no crank condition. swapped back. same. no fire. fuel pump not coming on.

OK, Let's go back to the injectors and see if we have the blinking test light... Tom G.

Re: changed coil now no fire
its a new engine, built by wildcat performance in Ga. but it has never been right. lots of smoke. the builder has been back into the engine twice, telling me that it is all fuel smoke, but its burns oil too. Can oil smoke make the o2's high on my scanmaster? 700-800 even at idle with 30# injectors with fuel pressure turned down to only 30#. smokes blue. also breaks down under high boost. sputters at 15 psi boost. so thats why i was checking coil. gremlins galore. I had a turbo tweak chip and 42#inj but swapped to my old 30# and poston 30#chip. still high o2's.
