Default Cooler cleaning

My GN radiator was in the repair shop for cleaning and welding. The transmission and engine oil coolers in the side tank have got some water inside. I blowed the water and that grey crud out with air as throughly as possible.

Is it good to use some cleaning stuff in addition to the air to clean the cooler elements before I install the radiator?

Couldn't hurt unless you use purple stuff. It's kind of strong.
Simple green is a good general purpose cleaner and washes off well with a good hose.
Denatured alcohol would probably be best and may help dry some of that water.
