Default gn87 nostart

Hi,

I have no start problem in our GN87. it crancks good, it starts, but shuts down almost immediatelly.

The fuel pump is priming.
There is spark in crancking phase.
Camsahaft sensor is functioning, gives voltages, when turning engine, 0 and about 7 volts.
Cranckshaft sensor is functioning, gives voltages as above.

The essential fuses are ok.

I have maftpro and it shows some rpms when crancking, about 20 rpms or so.

Some additional information: Before stopping the car in the parking slot everything was ok. In the next time crancked the car the no start situation occurred.
The plugs are wet, so I assume, that the injectors are functioning.

What next to scheck? How to scheck injector pulses?

Hi,

yes Iīm running with Extender Pro. How can I scheck the antitheft situation and cure the problem? I havenīt used the laptop programs for tuning and setting the parameters.

In addition: I found the small manual, which I got with the chip. If I undersood right, there is not the possibility to change the antitheft parameters with the procedures to change the many other parameters described in that manual. If you need the chip number, I will send it to you.

I wont post on a public forum how to disarm the anti theft, besides, I'm not even sure I remember anymore how to do it. but... You can email:
Bob@bailey-eng.com for the instructions. He's the designer of the Extender chips.

Hi,

thanks for further information! I tried to day with the another functioning coilpack assembly(with the bottom electronic unit). No luck. So, you are right; the chip is somehow deteriorated... I have two spare ECMīs without chips , if needed to the tests, not tried yet. Thanks for Scott Keller about these spares!

I will contact to the adress you informed, thank you!

But if it is suitable for you, I will send you the private messages after these emails, if needed.
