Anybody have a source for a waste gate solenoid for an 87 GN?

I am also looking for a waste gate solenoid for a 86....where would I start to look even???? any suggestions?

Thanks will check with them- the scan master is sowing the code for that and we are having a very hard time finding one

Be sure the solenoid is plugged in fully to the harness connector.

If the solenoid is bad you might give Gbody parts a call and see if he has one... You can check it by putting a vacuum pump on the side the vacuum line is on and see if it holds with the ing. key off... The solenoid is normally closed and should hold vacuum... I will get the actual trouble tree posted so you can check the ECM side of the wiring... Tom G.

good news jaysgn has a replacement boost solenoid it isn't the original but it comes with the wiring to make the conversion - he said it was plug and play. unfortunately for me we took one that was on a friends GN that is a known good one and put on mine cleared the scan master and tried it ....still coding 31 so now we are changing the connection....maybe that will be the problem.
