Question 93 and E85 cocktail

E85 has an octane of approximately 105. Premium gas in Illinois is 93 octane supposed to contain 10% ethanol. Was wondering if anyone was mixing a little E85 with alot of 93 to acheive higher octane and run slightly higher boost with a GAS chip?

Default Re: 93 and E85 cocktail

The more alcohol in the gas, the richer the mixture has to be ... (E85 has stoch of about 9.6:1).

You have to tune for the extra fuel required ...
