It's the old wire type. Two 8 gauge or so bailing wires with a threaded holddown. I have a pic but cant post it. I don't think I've ever seen them being reproduced and I would say try the Japanese imports but they look different than the American ones.

I grab these when I can when I'm in the boneyards. The silver cad ones are always chewed up and rusty but the black ones GM used on the up pipe of the 1.8/2.0 turbo'd Sunbird/GrandAm/Skyhawk look rather good after you hit them with some silver spray paint.

Yep it's a sure fire way to tell a true low mile TR from one that has had some work done to it by checking out the hose clamps. These were only used on the radiator hoses. The heater and by pass hoses used worm clamps.

I put a 160 t-stat in, and dropped/lost the little eyelet that the bolt threads in to. Did luck out today though and found one in the junkyard that the operator just let me have. I believe it was off a mid to late 90s Monte Carlo, but didn't really pay attention as I was just excited to find one. I'll post a picture on photobucket just for reference.

I found this site while looking for them http://www.jdheritage.net/DeerelyDep...Items/1006.asp

I wonder if they make one that uses the HD hex head instead of the stove bolt?

Not to much out there to chose from.
