Default Any Opinions on the FMIC Intercooler? (link inside)

Here's the link?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FMIC-...QQcmdZViewItem

Anyone know about the quality and potential performance improvement?

Also, is this a direct bolt-in for the facotry unit?

Thanks!

No piping is included. So I would hardly consider it a straight swap. This is a frontmount, after all.

You could go with something from a Buick vendor. See http://www.precisionturbo.net/interc...ckairtoair.php Note that their stock location unit has a higher HP rating than the front mount on Ebay.

I believe Cotton's has frontmounts as well.

I was hoping to avoid going to a front mount, as I don't want to butcher my car too much. This one just looked like a goode deal. I guess you get what you pay for, huh?

Thumbs up Re: Any Opinions on the FMIC Intercooler? (link inside)

Generally the sources that cater to these cars know them best.

And your assessment is correct.

this works for me, and no hacking was required. BUt if your car inst heavily modded a stock stretch unit will prolly be a better choice for you
