$470 for a CAI/MAF system
I just priced it all out for the cheapest way to build a GOOD cold air intake and MAF system. My MAF is shot so upgrading to an LS1 MAF would be a good idea at this time.
Translator: $180 Do I have to change/upgrade my chip to use a Translator???? LS1 MAF 3.5": $80 Big Mouth Kit w/ Filter: $150 3.5" MAF Pipe: $60 Total: $470 Also, I could order a Shorty Style Big Mouth Kit for $125 but this option is only $85 cheaper than the above mentioned Cold Air Intake system. I would think that the cold air benefit would be worth the extra cost... Does anyone have any input or do you have another option for me? Last edited by stizkidz; 09-09-2005 at 09:41 PM. |

no you can use your existing chip. I would opt for the Translator plus As far as a CAI, i just run my K&N off my LT1 maf. |
