Can anybody tell what turbo this is and what injectors?

I need to order a chip and not sure what turbo i have or injectors, i was told 37# does this look right? can anybody tell if this is a stock turbo? and does it look like a hotwire fuel harness was upgraded? if i could get your input it would help a great deal............thanks

I don't know how much this helps, but the turbo is definately not stock- a stocker has a removable inlet bell and a smaller compressor housing. and if it had a hot-wire kit it should have a relay near the pump connector with a jumper harness between the main harness and the fuel pump. Hope that gets you started..

looks like 36# Blue Top Injectors, That doesnt look like stock wiring or loom so most likely YES a hotwire kit.... double check for a power wire coming off the back of the alternator, and DEFINITELY NO... NOT STOCK turbo... maybe a TE44, possibly a 60mm - only way to tell would be to actually measure the inducer/exducer of the compressor.... hth


what did the previous owner tell you the turbo was???

he wasnt sure when i had asked him , it has garrett on the housing i think an ''M'' 060 maybe i cant see it to good.

None of that helps, unfortunately. Measuring will be the only sure way. And it will have to be *both* sides...

With the housings off is even better. Both the wheel diameter at the largest part and and the narrower part that you can see easily.

With the 36# injectors, the TE44 would really be the only sensical option. But not everyone makes good choices...

it was mentioned the upgrades were from kirban and knowing that and what i know so far 36# injectors, hotwire, adjustable fuel reg, te44-most likely, 3'' downpipe , bigmouth cold air, stock maf, stock intercooler, shift kit, scanmaster, boostguage, do you think i can use this info to order a tt chip, ?

While it is a bit of a gamble, it probably isn't much of a gamble.

The only other thing that may aid in the chip programming is determining what torque converter you have. By raising the car, pulling the inspection cover, and looking at it, you can at least determine if it is the stock piece. Or possibly an easily recognizable aftermarket unit.

It really helps for owners to have good documentation and to transfer that to future owners.
