Here's the deal. 81-87. Same Exact Hood. End of story. 52 1/4 inches long. The raised section is 33 inches wide at the header. From my experiences.. 82-87 turbo hoods are THE SAME. Same bulge dimensions. I have seen a 81 regal with the larger hood bulge. So, I'm gonna assume it isn't a freak and is truth.

78-80 hoods. 52 1/4 inches long. The raised section is 36 1/4 inches wide. DIFFERENT! the bulge is 19 inches at front and 21 1/2 inches at back. DIFFERENT! Definitly not the same hood. Will not look right with a 81-7 nose.

Which comes to my next point. All 81-87 REGAL (includes TR's) front fenders are the same. FACT. the angled section by the marker lights is 9 inches long. Therefore, the angle is the same (check any high school trig book :) )I have not bolted a 81-3 header on a 84-7, But they will fit. I will shoot myself in the snarglies if I've made a bad assumption. :)

Hope this answers questions. Can we have this all put somewhere for future refrence? I'm not gonna go out the yard with a tape measure and take the dimensions of every single regal hood ever again. Thanks all, later on.
