The Buick V6 has a variety of crankshaft designs over the years. Basically, they can be broken down to:
- Odd fire crankshafts (early NA motors)
- Even fire crankshafts (post '78 motors)
- Turbo crankshafts with rolled fillets
Aftermarket billet, forged, and steel crankshafts are often used for high horsepower racing applications.
