Dr. John Z. Gyekenyesi - killerklown@stratos.net
8.5" 10 Bolt Rear

Right

Features of Note:
  • Stock unit is on the left and Eaton unit is on the right
  • Notice the very heavy construction of the Eaton carrier
  • Corners are rounded and the metal is thicker
  • 3.42 gears installed on the Eaton

Side

Features of Note:
  • Stock unit on left and Eaton on the right
  • Again, we can really see the HD construction of the Eaton unit
  • Mounting for the ring gear isn't as beveled and is more beefy
  • The Eaton unit uses coil style springs instead of the "Z" spring of the stocker to load the clutches

Left

Features of Note:
  • Stock unit on left and Eaton on right
  • The Eaton unit again appears to be a heavy duty piece
