Features of Note:
  • The ruler is to show the converter is 12" in diameter.
  • The rounded shape of the interior shows there is not an antiballoon plate installed.
Features of Note:
  • The flat front indicates a lockup style converter.
  • The three retangular mounting pads for the flywheel bolts indicate a stronger duty converter.
  • Lesser duty converters had the round mounting lugs welded directly to the housing without the retangular pads.

D5 Stamping

Features of Note:
  • This picture shows the D 5 stamped between the ribs on the outer
    diameter of the converter.
  • This confirms this is a correct converter for the Turbo Regal 200R4.
