Default Bumper finish

I'm doing a little background info checking on my 87 GN in preparation for getting it painted later. I have a few questions. The bumper finish, as well as the windshield reveal, what type of finish was that originally? It is paint? Powdercoat? Some other special finish?

What have people done here when redoing them? I was contemplating getting them both powdercoated a satin black.

Also, as far as all the black trim pieces around the windows and doors etc, what is everyone doing with those as far as refinishing? I've seen cars where they painted everything in a shiny black paint and to me it looked terrible. Thanks for any input.

I powder coated my front and rear bumper gloss black. They came painted glossy from GM. For the cow trim and windshield trim I used this...

Give's it that OEM look.
