Expect the update to be installed very shortly. If I hear precisely when, I will let everyone know. All odd behavior at this time is due to the database being many levels ahead of the vBulletin installation.

The forums will likely be updated this Sunday evening, April 27th. Expect them to be unavailable for a bit during the late evening.

Unfortunately, they did not. All the 'parts' are in place to do it, but a few things did not work correctly with backing up the current database so the update was backed off.

In addition, a new version has come out since the plans were put in place. I want to try to shoot for the latest version instead, avoiding some additional pitfalls.

I don't believe an update will occur until after the GS Nationals (i.e. after May 17th).

Very sorry for the inconvenience, but the final result will be much better.

Having GNTTYpe.Org back up is GREAT!

Is it just me or is there an issue with trying access the User CP? Each time I have tried to access it, I get an error and it says that an email has been sent to the site moderator.

No, that is part of the current issues along with picture posting, etc.

I'm going to give the current benefactor who bought the license for the copy we're currently using one last shot tomorrow. If not, I'll be purchasing a fresh license so that a copy of the latest version can be installed before month-end.

Sorry this has not been updated in some time...

The vBulletin license has been updated courtesy of Mike Licht of Full Throttle Speed And Style (http://www.fullthrottlespeed.com/)

In addition, we have arranged for Jelsoft (the makers of vBulletin) to upgrade the software to the latest and greatest version. The currently targeted time for the upgrade is Monday, September 15th @ 7pm CST. This is not yet confirmed with their support just yet, so please stay tuned for verification.

Note that this will fix the issues we've had lately with posting pictures, other error messages, etc. They all stem from incompatibility due to board software that is so far behind the version of the database software we are now running.

Stay tuned for a confirmation on the update time.
