Re: cruise stalk
Just to bring this to the top I just did this on my 86 over the weekend. I "thought" I had some good rope and a good tie on it but not! Snap half way thru the pull! So for anyone who snaps the rope or tries to add this on a car without cruise have no fear I took some 14 gage copper ground wire and snaked it down from the stalk and it came out perfect down below. Once that was in place I tied some better rope and a better knot pulled that thru and then pulled the wire thru. Makes a nice difference putting a nice new stalk in the car that's for sure.
Also an update the original GM part number for the loaded stalk is now a dead number and the new number is 25111290 and a few pics... The old one... Old number
