Thumbs up 1992-2007 - GNTTYPE Celebrates Its 15th Year
From its beginnings as a mailing list with only a handful of people in the spring of 1992, GNTTYPE has exploded from a tiny group of TR enthusiasts chatting occasionally on a mailing list to a website with tons of technical information, references, and a discussion forum with thousands of members.

This anniversary year has just started. However, the plans are big. GNTTYPE will be undergoing a major, much needed overhaul. So grab your helmet and your firesuit for this one, and get ready to participate. GNTTYPE relies on the participation of everyone in its community for its muscle.[b]

WOW! Spring of 1992!? Congrats!!!

Is there any record of when members first signed up on the mailing list?

I can remember reading all the list postings as guys were gearing up to head to the GS Nats. Bunch of people were talking about displaying a letter "I" in the rear window of their vehicles just so everyone could tell who was a list member.....I always wanted to be one of the guys with the "I" in the rear window.

I've still never even made it to the Nats. One day....one day.

Glad to be part of this group of enthusiasts. I haven't been around for all of these 15 yrs, but I have certainly learned a lot being here. Thanks to one and all and lets keep going another 15 years!
