OTC 4000 - How to select "9 ROAD" mode for recording

It is imperative to use the ROAD mode (mode 9) at all times when recording test sessions with your TR. Other modes (i.e. 8 - ALDL) will cause the car to behave improperly.

When you're going into record mode and see it flash up "8 ALDL" in the display, hit the up arrow immediately. It will then provide you with the menu to select other modes. Its an undocumented feature. At that point simply select "9 ROAD" and you'll be on your way.
