It basically goes like this ... to run TurboLink on the HP100's 200's and 1000's you need to setup the card so that it UPDATES THE BIOS EQUIPMENT list when the driver loads. Quatech ships the palmtop drivers only upon request so be sure to ask for them when ordering the PCMCIA card. FOR OTHER USERS THIS MAY HELP My config.sys entry for the quatech card with its HP driver is: device=c:\spp100pd.sys (i7,l,e,b378,s1) those that have a Quatech card will understand the syntax. BTW I have a HP1000CX, (a 200LX without the groovy software) that's clock doubled (16mhz, 186PC), and has a 32mb mem upgrade installed. They're not backlit, but they're neat especially when you can cal a DFI car w/o lugging around a big laptop!!! Between, Tlink, Diacom, and Calmap you can carry some HD car tuning stuff in your pocket!! |
