I have a 87 GN when the car is on the fan is on, my friend also has a 87 GN, his fan cuts in and out when running, who has the problem?
He also has some sort of bypass system on the header panel with a wire going to this system then to the radiator.
Is it just the relay?
Stock they cycle with engine temp. The cycle rate, high or low speed is controled by the computer. Aftermarket chips sometimes make them run all the time. There are also aftermarket kits with an air flow sensor mounted to the header that make them run at low road speed.
