I just Bought an 86 GN. The guy didn’t know anything really about the car (he was selling it for a friend).My problem is I’m not sure what I really have. The turbo is a Turbonetics but I am not sure what size. The injectors are green stripes. With a matching 7thinjector. He said that the chip is called an Ultimate. The car hits 20 psi super fast. The problem I have is when I get off the highway the car will die as I come to a complete stop. Any help on info about finding out what I have or my car dieing problem would be great. Oh and the car has the 3” down and forged passions and upgraded cams(so he says)

I would suggest getting a scan tool (or better yet, a data recorder), and see what the sensors tell you. Check the IAC.

There's also a good chance it may be the torque converter clutch solenoid is sticking when warm (pretty common as the cars age).

i checked my chip and found out its a pit bull 36lbs injector chip. That helps with that. I will also look into the clutch solenoid. thanks all
I have other numbers on the pit bull chip does that help to tell you the stats of the chip?
