I have a 86 GN with a TA49 stock intercooler with the dutt neck a bowlingreen big intank and a big in line pump. The motor is fresh w/ported heads 218/218 comp, cam big valves JE pistons and a ported intake and hat. It now has 30lb tomco inj in it and it is no where close to enough. With this combo witt 36lb blue tops and a max effort chip be able to the car in the 11.50 range? I know it will depend on traction, but that's not an issue . I just mean on the fuel system side of things will it be ok. Thanks Jeromy
the MaxEffort is an excellent choice but bluetops are too small for 11.50s altho someone has probably pushed them there someway.
50# injectors are required for a little margin on the safe side.

I agree that bluetops are a bit small for 11.50s. However, I think that 50 lb/hr injectors are probably a little overkill. Unless you're planning on going faster in the future, 43 lb/hr '009' injectors would probably be fine.
My best so far with my blues is 11.53 and 118.31. I run 47 psi of fuel pressure and a Thrasher 108 "static". Other combo bits are big neck stock intercooler, THDP, TA49 turbo, JJ 62mm TB, some upper plenum mods, 2.5" dual exhaust with ultraflows and 23 psi max boost. 90K mile stock long block, stock converter and 28" tall 275/60 BFGDR's and a 3600 lb race weight.
My car will run 11.6's/11.7's @ 115 pretty consistantly and this is well within the capability of bluetops if you only run good gas and don't go crazy with boost.
11.5's is "pushing" bluetops and I wouldn't think of running them if my car was more modified than it is. Turbo's bigger than a TA49/TE44, ported heads or a real intercooler will go beyond the capability of Bluetops in a well tuned T-R.
