Factory Alarm

I have been having trouble with my alarm system. I recently converted my brake system to a power brake booster system and not too long after my security light began to remain on after i locked the car and the door was shut. I tested all the door lock cylinders and none of them caused the light to blink off. Does anybody know if there are any wires for the alarm under the dash that could have caused this or could someone please tell me how to just disable the entire alarm system.

I found a quick fix for the security light. As long as your doors still lock and your alarm doesnt go off by itself you can just unhook the light from the dash and the alarm will still work regularly and you dont have to worry about a dead battery.

The problem may have been something in the module just went wonky.

My car doesn't chime like it originally did when the key is in and the door open. Probably something solid-state in that module gave up.
