Transmission Identification Chart?

I thought I saw a transmission identification chart somewhere on this website but can not seem to find it now! A friend has a 2004R and it starts with OG on the tag. Is that an Olds tranny?


Is there a comprehensive chart anywhere that will help me identify what some of the various tag info on these 2004R's is/are?

Ken,

I looked at both those pages and they do not give me a breakdown of the tag info on different 2004R's. Do you know if there is a list like that available?

I'm pretty certain the OG is an Olds version. The BRF is Buick, C** (forget the code right now) is Chevy, not sure if ones for Pontiac or Cadillac or if they exist.

motor manual, trans manual has the tag info your looking for
