Default NO egr valve, error code

I recently acquired an 85 gn, when i got it the fuel pressure was at 80 psi from a clogged return line, i fixed this and now i get an intermittent code 32. The car didn't have an egr valve when i got it, but I'm stumped as to why it came on after i fixed the fuel pressure?
