Turbolink issues (Split from: Turbolink 4.0 by Ken Mosher???)
I am getting a display failed to initialize error when I try to go online with the car. I am running windows XP or Windows 2000. I tried it on 2 computers with the same error. Is there a setting or patch required !! I have version 4.
I it ti s 4. something actually. Please help !! Thanks !!

Are you using this with the factory cable? And you have it plugged into the car when trying to connect each time?
Are you using a serial port, or via a USB adapter?

Probably the Dynaplot control didn't register ...
In the Utilities directory on the CD, there should be a .bat file that says something like "register.bat" or something like that. It should reregister all the controls and make it work. If you don't have the CD, I'm kind of stuck, since I don't have the .bat file any more and I don't remember exactly what it took to reregister the control from the command line. Might want to do a search ... we might have discussed this before several years ago.

Thanks I do have the CD so I'll give it a try and yes I have the right cable and the com test passes fine. It just craps out when I try to go online.
I am hooked up with a serial cable.

Yep, it sounds like DynoPlot failed to register ... the cable is fine.
