TurboTweak chip control over wastegate?

I've installed a turbotweak chip set up for 15-17 lbs boost. Does the chip actually allow for 15-17 lbs boost without 1st adjusting the wastegate? thanks

I dont think Eric's chips actually control the boost....What they do is give you the proper amount of fuel for 15-17psi, IIRC ..Could be wrong, have been many times before...

I have an in cab adjustable wastegate controller. very easy to adjust boost as your driving, I bypass the solonoid alltogether. you can adjust mine on the fly, but it is very easy to go too far, you must watch it because you can get greedy and then liberate yourself of a few extra bux buying some new head gaskets.
