Default fuel pump blowing fuses

hi i have a 87 gn and i just put a new fuel pump in it and it worked for 2 weeks and now it blows 30 amp fuses like nothing where do i start thanks grandnationaldave@yahoo.com

Question Re: fuel pump blowing fuses

- What pump did you install?
- Why did you change the pump?
- Are you sure that no wires are shorting out, etc.?
- Do you have a hot wire kit? If so, did you install it at the same time?
- Do you hear the relay clicking at key-on? (when the fuse is not blown...)
